As we are eagerly waiting for the arrival of the Maruti Suzuki Celerio in diesel variant, but the manufacturer has not said anything until now regarding its launch. However, some of the spy shots of this vehicle have recently been posted on the Internet that hints towards its near release and as per the market reports, it is speculated to be set up next month in the Indian automotive sector. An unveiled spy shot of various Celerio models confirms that the car would have a Zdi logo at its rear in order to help the customers to recognize an oil burner variant.
Under the hood, this runabout is likely to be machined with a 793 cc engine to produce 55 bhp of power and a maximum torque of 150 Nm. Notably, It will be emerging out as the most fuel efficient runabout in our country, including an anticipated ARAI certified fuel efficiency of 30 km/l. As per the aesthetic and convenient terms, the vehicle seems to comprise a front fog lamps, alloy wheels, body colored door handles, electrically adjustable outside rear view mirror, anti lock braking system, dual airbags and electrically adjustable driver seats.
Reportedly, its automatic variation would be introduced sometime later, after the launch of an oil burner version. Price wise, the Maruti Celerio diesel is probably to be varied from INR 4.8 Lac to INR 5.8 Lac.
