Matchless Model X has Replenished with Ebullience for EICMA, 2014

The iconic British motorcycle manufacturer has recently refreshed its motorcycle and preparing it for the upcoming Milan Motorcycle Show. The Matchless Motorcycles, which was founded in the year 1899, has been pretty much popular all across the globe. The firm manufactures various motorcycles ranging from two-stroke and goes up to 750cc four-stroke with twin-cylinders. The firm has its own racing history as well with its very own matchless motorcycles.

Now, the for the upcoming EICMA, the manufacturer has come up with an updated version of the Model X. The images leaked showed up the production-ready model of the newly introduced motorcycle. The Model X is powered by a S&S V-Twin engine with an engine displacement of 1916cc. The motor is capable to belt out a total power of approx 100 BHP and a peak torque of 157.2 Nm. The 1916cc displacement engine is coupled with a 6-speed transmission.

Matchless Motorcycles Model X

The stopping power of the Model X is provided by a single disc, 12-piston calipers at the front and 6-piston caliper at the rear section. They have also provided adjustable seat height, which can be adjusted horizontally and vertically, both according to the rider's convenience. The Model X is built around a specific frame which is made up of multiple sheet metals. The suspension of the Model X has been catered by the Castle type adjustable forks. The firm has used quality forks in order to provide a stable and comfortable ride to its rider.

Moreover to that, the amazing retro-style carried by the motorcycle and the chrome paint finish parts makes this motorcycle complete, giving a real Britain look. The Matchless Motorcycles are preparing to showcase the Model X in the upcoming EICMA motorcycle show, Milan, Italy. The Milan motorcycle show will be going to start from 6th November, 2014.
