Mercedes E Class Likely to Get a Couple of New features

One of the most demanding luxury sedan models from Mercedes, E Class got a new infotainment system in February this year and again, it's at the peak of discussion as the Indian market reports are saying that the runabout would receive more updates, a retouched COMAND Online multimedia system, including a new Audio 20 CD 5*1 system and an appreciable resolution color display. Its latest audio system will comprise a single CD player, twin radio with several connectivity options, such as Bluetooth, iPod and USB/AUX-in. Coming to the E200 CGI and E250 CDI trims, which could feature an optional Garmin Maps loaded system.

How can we forget to talk about the standard equipment that will come in the form of a reverse parking camera. Other standard features could be seen as THERMOTRONIC (3 zone) automatic climate control, programmable 3 way memory for mirrors and steering, DIRECT CONTROL steering alongside speed limiter, ARTICO man made upholstery and electrically adjustable seats along with lumber support. Moreover, the upcoming Mercedes E Class will comprise ABS with brake assist, ESP, adaptive brake including hold function, acceleration skid control and hill start assist.

Currently, this runabout comes in three versions, namely E200 CGI, E250 CDI and E 350 CD. All of these three models are powered by a 2.0 litre petrol, 2.2 litre diesel and 3.0 litre diesel engines, churning out 181.03 bhp, 201.1 bhp and 261.5 bhp, respectively. The updated E Class is expected to be priced 1.10 Lac higher than the existing one upon its launch in India shortly.
