New Bajaj Avenger Spotted in the Dealership, Likely to be Launched in This Week

As we reported a few days ago that the Bajaj Auto will launch new Avenger in three variants, thus, the new Avenger is on the verge of its launch in the Indian two-wheeler market. Recently, the new cruiser motorcycle has been spotted for the very first time in the new look at the dealership. Moreover, the first Avenger was introduced back in 2005 with the 180cc engine compartment, since then it has become the most popular cruiser motorcycle of the country.

As per the spied images, the new Avenger has received full black treatment and some other cosmetic changes to differentiate it from the older version. From the front side, the new front alloy wheel looks very similar to the Harley-Davidson's Street 750. With the same design approach on the board, the new Avenger is featured with the new well-cushioned seat, indicators, front fender, black exhaust and the same instrument cluster. Moreover, the new cruiser motorcycle has also received new paint scheme and graphics.

The new cruiser motorcycle will be powered by the 200cc, four-stroke and single-cylinder engine that is also powering the Pulsar 200 NS and AS 200. The engine is mated to a six-speed transmission. The 220cc engine of Avenger returns 18.7 BHP of power, whereas the 200cc returns 23.5 BHP, which is 5 BHP more than Avenger 220. Moreover, the new Avenger will be featured with the same suspension, while the rear disc brake might be new in the motorcycle and Anti-lock braking system as an option. It is expected that the company might be introduced Bajaj Avenger in three engine options such as 180cc, 200cc and 220cc.
