Earlier this month, we informed you that Volkswagen could bring its next generation Beetle in India this year and now the company has surfaced a website exclusively for the niche model. This site mentions about the probable features that one should look forward to in the upcoming car. It has also mentioned that prospective buyers can get this vehicle booked at INR 1 Lakh. This indicates that the launch could take place either by December or in the early 2016. The automaker has disclosed a brochure that contains images of the 2015 Beetle and some noteworthy features available in it.

Reports suggest that only a single trim will be rolled out in the lineup that will include numerous attractive elements. Although the overall appearance and design has not been changed much, yet some important exteriors which are hard to miss include a pair of bi-xenon headlights, 16-inch alloy rims, rear spoiler, automatically adjustable wing mirrors, and fog lamps on the front fascia. Similarly, features like touchscreen display, panoramic sun roof, heated seats at the front row, dual zone automatic climate control, leather upholstery and auto dimming rear view mirror are also found inside the hatch.

Under the hood, it is fitted with just a petrol engine in the form of a 1.4 litre unit that generates 110 KW of maximum power output. This motors is clubbed to a 7-speed DSG transmission facility accompanied by paddles that are located on the steering wheel. This latest Beetle will enter Indian shores via CBU route and is expected to fall in the price tag of INR 30-35 Lacs (ex-showroom).
