Nissan New Global SUV Kicks To be Unveiled in May 2016

Nissan has recently started testing its Kicks crossover and is likely to roll out by May 2016. The Nissan Kicks concept made its debut at the Sao Paulo Auto Show. The automaker has already confirmed the production of the crossover from January, 2016. The car has been found testing heavily camouflaged in Brazil, where it is being manufactured. The car is expected to be unveiled at the Rio 2016 Olympics in May this year.

The new Nissan Kicks crossover will be based on the automakers V-platform, which also underpins models like Sunny and Micra. The upcoming Kicks will be slotted below the Juke crossover. It will be powered by a 1.6-litre flex-fuel engine, which runs on a mixture of 70 percent petrol and 30 percent ethanol. This engine is manufactured at Nissan’s Brazil Plant located in Resende.
