The Range Rover LWB (Long Wheelbase) Black Edition has been launched in India with petrol as well as diesel mill options. Its oil burner SDV8 version gets the price of INR 3.75 Crore, while the petrol variant is expected to be priced around INR 3.83 Crore. Unveiled at the 2013 LA Auto Show, this newly released SUV now gets 186 mm of enhanced leg room for its second row. There is a massaging functionality for the front seats and an 18 way articulation is available at the driver's seat. Coming to its rear row that also receives reclining ability as well as lumbar massage for the passengers.
A 10.2 inch infotainment screens have been integrated ahead of the rear row occupants (back of the front seat). On the outside, it gets new side vents and front grille with awesome finish, while the badges come in black enamel. On the other hand, this vehicle receives furnishing of chrome at the tailgate as well as for bespoke high gloss 21 inch aluminium wheels. The Range Rover LWB Black Edition is powered by a 4.4 litre SDV8 diesel engine, which produces a maximum power of 339 bhp and a peak torque of 740 NM.
However, its gasoline variant is machined with a 5.0 litre supercharged V8 mill to churn out an incredible power of 510 bhp and a stupendous torque of 625 Nm. Both of these trims have been mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission.
