Yamaha Scheduled a 125cc Scooter for 7th May, 2015 Launch

Yamaha Motors India is readying to gear up another scooter over the Indian ground. The Japanese Two-wheeler maker has recently sent out an invitation proclaiming the introduction of a 125cc scooter. Although, the firm hasn’t revealed the name of the upcoming product readying for launch in the country, but it has teased with the front grille of the scooter over the invitation. The 125cc displaced engined scooter could be directly rivaling with the segment ruler Honda Activa 125. The other competitors in the row are Vespa scooter, New Suzuki Swish, Yamaha Alpha, etc.

Yamaha Invitation

Just a few days back, the firm has launched an all new commuter segment motorcycle, named Yamaha Saluto. The motorcycle was launched without creating a buzz all around. Believing the sources, the firm has been manufacturing a scooter with a codename "04X". Besides this, the Yamaha Nozza Grande was also spotted testing various times. Yamaha Motors India has imported various 125 cc displaced scooters in India and tested them for a while. The firm's Chennai located plant is currently manufacturing the Alpha scooter and the newly launched Saluto motorcycle.

Yamaha Nozza Grande

Technically, the Yamaha Nozza Grande is equipped with a 125cc single-cylinder motor configuration. The air-cooled motor is accompanied with fuel-injection system and it is giving a mileage of 54 KMPL as per company claims. Currently, the scooter is only available in Vietnam carrying a price tag of 28.9 million Vietnamese (INR 84,173).

Yamaha Nozza Grande

According to the company, the Yamaha Nozza Grande is specifically designed for the Asian market. Carrying a retro-styling and enhanced with advanced technical features, it can be the first choice of anyone. The front grille showcased over the invitation completely matches up with the Nozza Grande scooter. The simple yet attractive features would definitely carry a head-turner look.
