Developed nations have strict emission norms than India, it is essential for the company to use Fuel Injection instead of the carburettor, which can be seen in India-spec Himalayan. The Himalayan will also be seen equipped with ABS and FI in North America. The Indian government is also on the verge of implementing similar laws in India, maybe that is the reason for the company to launch updated Himalayan with FI and ABS.

The mighty Royal Enfield Himalayan is blessed with a relaxed seating position, which has been claimed to be a boon on long rides, especially while riding on rough roads. Its off-road tyres provide a very rugged appeal along with long suspension travel. The cruiser is powered by a new 410 cc single cylinder engine, which is capable of churning out 25 PS of maximum power along with 32 Nm of peak torque with the help of a 5-speed transmission system.
