At the last Delhi Auto Expo in the month of February this year, Skoda launched the facelift version of it's not so famous hatchback car Yeti. The new car is based on the chassis of the original design, but with more signature lines on the car. The car has already been on the sale in the European market, and now the unwrapping is on the cards for Indian market. The company has suggested the date of unveiling this on August 10.
The car will be offered in the two forms that is, a normal city version for the comfort drive on the city roads and a rough 'Outdoor' version for the adventurers driving. This outdoor version has changes on it like body cladding and bash plates, while the outdoor version has the neat and clean design with the elegance as well. The other common changes are rectangular headlights, the new octavia shaped grille and alloy wheels as well. The engine will be very same like earlier and that is a 2.0 Litre diesel which produces 108 bhp power and 250 Nm of torque with the front wheel drive and 138 bhp power with 320 Nm torque in 4-wheel drive version.
Skoda Yeti hasn't been a famous car because of the looks and design, but still manages to snoop around with some sales. However, this time the looks are little better with the interior features as well, and I guess the people will love to buy this car ,when the price is nearly INR 16 – 19 Lac with no competitor what so ever in the market.
