Now, the customers have to sustain their patience only for tonight because the Tata Motors is going to make an official figuration of the long awaited Bolt hatchback tomorrow during the solemnization of its launch ceremony in India. The dealers will start delivering orders from tomorrow for the people, who have reserved their models via online payment at INR 11,000. Design wise, this runabout unifies a transcendent components package to follow the latest Tata Motor’s design philosophy comprising a floating roofline and a blackened C-Pillar. Underpinned on the same platform as Vista, the hatchback promises to confer superb comfort inside alongside its various noteworthy features, such as multi-functional steering wheel and automatic climate control.
On the other hand, It also includes a smartphone connected navigation system holding touchscreen interface and electrically adjustable as well as retractable wing mirrors. Mechanically, the Tata Bolt hatchback is powered by a 1.2 litre turbocharged REVOTRON petrol engine to produce an appreciable power of 88 bhp and impressive torque of 140 Nm.
However, a 1.3 litre miltijet diesel engine is capable to churn out the power of 74 bhp as well as peak torque of 190 Nm.
