Triumph Motorcycles to Unveil Bonneville Bobber In London

The British manufacturer, Triumph Motorcycles with a plan to expand its Bonneville range, was working on the Bonneville Bobber. The earlier posts and recently surfaced images of the same, confirms the addition of this newbie in the lineup. The introduction of the motorcycle will take place on October 19 in London. And, it is likely to be showcased in front of the world at the approaching EICMA 2016, slated to held in November month in Milan, Italy.

On the mechanical front, this new Triumph Bonneville Bobber is expected to be bolted with the same powertrain offerings, used in one of the Bonneville range. The base models of the Bonneville Bogger use the 900cc parallel-twin, which works on the Street Twin, while the bigger engined Bogger gets the 1200cc motor that runs the bigger siblings like the Thruxton, Thruxton R , T120 and the T120 Black.

The spied test mules seem to be powered by the massive 1,200cc motor, as anticipated. However, the confirmed specifications will be revealed at its official global appearance. In the present time, as every new motorcycle comes featured with stricter Euro-IV emission norms, this one should follow these emission and noise norms.

From the spied images, the visible cycle parts include the fitment of a single disc brake in place of a twin disc setup of the Bonneville range. A mono shock under the seat and front wheel without mudguard, that might only be with this test mule, but the production model will be featured with a mudguard. Moreover, it also gets bar-end mirrors.

Apart from this upcoming, Triumph Motorcycles has recently previewed two new products- Street Twin-based Street Cup and the Bonneville T100. The Street Cup is packed with a 900cc powertrain, which pumps out 55PS/80Nm power output, as seen on the new T100. The Triumph Bonneville Bobber would mark it presence in the Indian market sometime in next year.
