After promising a comeback model in the year 2017, TVR has now announced that it will start accepting deposits for its upcoming model. The British sports car maker is planning to introduce an all new sports car that will employ a Cosworth V8 engine and Gordon Murray design. The company has declared that it will start accepting deposits for its all new sports car from July, 7.
Even though the car is scheduled to be launched in 2017, the comeback news received an overwhelming response from customers. Soon after the news of the upcoming model broke, the company got a positive reaction from the customers. Seeing this excitement, the company decided to invite the aspiring buyers to make deposits for the upcoming car.
According to John Chasey, Operations Director TVR, “Our phone lines and online enquiry system went into meltdown when the news was announced, and we decided that we must begin to bring a structure to the enquiries and build a delivery pipeline well in advance of production.”
Reportedly, the production volume of the new sports car by TVR will be less in the first year. Hence, the customers placing an advance order will be benefited from this offer. Apart from this, the members of the TVR club will also get the advantage in a way that they will be able to book the car by depositing half the amount that is actually required to get the car booked. Any member who is a part of this club will be able to avail this offer.
The specifications and other details have not been declared yet. All we can say is that the new TVR model has definitely proved to be a big hit without even being revealed.
