TVS Apache RTR 200 ABS Launched in India

The flagship model from the TVS Motor, the Apache RTR 200 is one of the most desired motorcycles in the naked streetfighter segment in India. It is available to purchase in two trims-carburetor injected and fuel injected version. Lately, the company has also introduced Apache 200 Fi-ABS variant in the country at the price sticker of INR 1,07,485 (ex-showroom, Delhi). the life saving braking aids is dual-channel that makes this naked beast more safe and secure. The pre-bookings for the ABS version was already on at select dealerships.

Moreover, the offered colour option for this Fi-ABS Apache 200 includes black and white. While, the other variants of the same are offered with number of colour choices.

TVS Apache RTR 200 ABS

Beneath the fuel tank, the Apache comes laden with a 197.75cc single-cylinder motor that generates the maximum power of 20.7 bhp at 9000 rpm and delivers 18.1Nm at 7000 rpm. The engine is mated to a 5-speed gearbox. The suspension setup on the Apache 200 comprises telescopic front forks and a rear monoshock. While, the braking is handled by the petal disc brakes on both ends.

In the segment, the Apache 200 goes in competition with the likes of Bajaj Pulsar NS 200, KTM Duke 200 and the newly launched Hero Xtreme 200R. While, there are countable bikes with ABS facility like the Bajaj Pulsar NS 200 and Hero Xtreme 200R. The mentioned bikes use the single channel ABS.
