TVS Draken Concept: It is Three in One

After the grand success of TVS Apache 160 and 180, the TVS Motor Company is now planning to introduce three new version of Apache, code named as- X16, X18 and X21. The news about three versions has emerged directly from the company’s headquarter in South India. The three new versions of TVS Apache are under construction in-house by TVS and the company might unveil these versions in the next coming months. In terms of appearance, the upcoming versions will be receiving new curves and cues inspired by the Draken concept. The new Apache will come with some attractive and dynamic features to make it more powerful than outgoing versions.

Moreover, the TVS Apache 200cc (X21) would be expected to receive all new 210cc engine that will produce more than 30 PS of power and the engine is mated to a six speed manual gearbox. The faired sports motorcycle might get a lightweight frame and swing-arm. Furthermore, the racing series of sports motorcycles will be blessed with Michelin soft compound tyres, anti-lock braking system, split seats and mobile-charging point. Being a street-fighter, the Apache X21 would be expected to be loaded with various enhanced electronic equipments.

Moving to the (X16) and (X18), the Apache 160 (X16) and 180cc (X18) is featured with a combi braking system, swingarm and Michelin tyres. Well, the power plant of the two new upcoming versions are re-tuned to receive a power hike by 10 %. The price of X21 could be under Rs 1.5 Lacs, while the price of X16 and X18 might be a little bit higher than the current version Apache 160 and 180.

TVS Apache Series, being the flagship series of the company, the manufacturer really doesn't want it to be a mistaken motorcycle. However, the 2015 is coming carrying along lots of surprises for Apache lovers.
