Updated BMW i3 to Arrive Next Year

The German luxury auto major BMW group introduced the first production fleet of its all-electric city car, the i3, back in 2013. Despite having an advanced construction technique that include aluminium and super-light carbon-fiber as well as bigger battery, the car didn’t find a good place in the segment. Nevertheless, with the ever raging demand of electric vehicle and evolving competition in such segment, BMW is thinking of introducing an updated version of this unit. German weekly Welt am Sonntag claims that BMW will unveil a new version of the i3 electric car next year.

Earlier in last month, BMW has displayed an innovative and material concept trim of the i3 hatchback with the joint efforts of Garage Italia Customs in order to celebrate the 2016 Paris Motor Show. Based on the company’s run-of-the electric vehicles, BMW i3 Garage Italia Crossfade featured with a new exterior color scheme which gives special attention to the new innovative design and the state-of-the-art character in a fascinating way.
