Volta Zap India's First Crossover E-Bike Unveiled, Pre-Bookings Commence

Volta Zap, India’s first claimed crossover electric cycle designed and developed by the Chennai-based firm- Volta Motors. This all new and distinct crossover electric cycle model has been unveiled at Bangalore White Orchid Convention Centre. At the event, free rides are also offered to the available and interested visitors.

Lately, the manufacturer did not make any official announcement regarding the launch and the price of the upcoming crossover e-bicycle. However, the pre-bookings for the Volta Zap has already been commenced online. The potential buyers can place their orders at Volta Motors official website without paying any token amount. Whenever go on sale, the Zap electric crossover will carry the price tag quoted around Rs. 30,000.

Volta Zap is designed and developed as a part of ‘Made in India’ government policy at Volta Motors. Owing to provide a new, distinctive and eco-friendly companion for the Indian crowd. The unleased electric crossover cycle witnesses body cues and detailings, which are well suited as per the Indian road and weather conditions.

On mechanicals, Volta Zap is powered by an advanced lithium technology battery placed in a box frame. The battery weighs 3 kgs and it is the lightest ever used battery in any e-bicycle. It can easily attain the top speed ranging 25 to 30Km/h and return the claimed mileage of 60Kms on a single charge. The expense of extending the biking range costs 7 paise per km.

The electric mobility solution, Volta Zap has been constructed by using customizable body panels, which offers a wider range of colours options for the occupant. Additionally, it also gets universal charger, 4x faster charging, disc brakes, utility space, LED reflectors and other integrated facilities for the rider convenience and for its safety.
