Yamaha M-slaz Hits Bangladesh Shores, Called Xabre

As we noted you earlier, the arrival of Yamaha M-Slaz in the Bangladesh market and hinted the launch soon. Yes, it comes true, and Yamaha M-Slaz hits the Bangladesh shores at the price tag of 4.45 lakh Bangladeshi Taka. The M-Slaz made its way through the CBU unit which has been imported to the Bangladeshi land by the ERS Global- authorized Yamaha Importer.

Importantly, it will be pronounced as Xabre, as it is called in Indonesian market and imported from the indonesian facility may be the reason behind its name be pronounced ‘Xabre’ in Bangladesh.

Yamaha M-slaz

At mechanicals, the aggressive looking street runner M-slaz gets the propelling power from a single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine with the 149cc displacement. The engine is capable of producing max power of 17PS at 8,000 rpm and peak torque of 15 Nm at 7,500 rpm with the connected six-speed gearbox. On suspension end it gets the major addition of upside down front fork in the 150cc segment bike and mono shock at rear. Weighing just 135 kg, one of the lightest bike in 150cc segment can attain the top speed of 140kmph.

Visually, having a sharp and aggressive headlight section which gets a full LED headlight on the front and or on the tail section also. Sculpted fuel tank with bikini fairing looks massive and split or stepped seat is well constituted with fuel tank to give it a flawless design. The unconventional graphic design makes it a unique and head turner machine.

As per indian perspective it has a big gap where it can be well fitted in between FZs and YZF-R15 on design, engine displacement and prices base also. However, Mr. Roy Kurian hinted to bring a new 150cc motorcycle in India priced nearer to 1 lakh. We just can hope for the good new of M-slaz India’s arrival.
