Yamaha R15 Based M-Slaz Reached Bangladesh, Launch Soon

The R15 based compact naked street sport, Yamaha M-Slaz receiving good response since their launch in the several Asian countries like Thailand and Indonesia. Now it has been prepared for an imminent launch on the land of Bangladesh. Yes, it's true. A few days ago, on finger countable units of Yamaha M-Slaz imported in Bangladesh. Pronounced as Xabre, in Indonesia, the street tracker had a great start off in both Thailand and Indonesia.

Yamaha’s local partner Hafs will do take care of the Importing and retailing of the M-Slaz. And it will likely to be sourced from the Thai market and will be sold by its original name M-Slaz in the Bangladesh motoring market.

However the M-Slaz shares the same platform from the fully faired sports bike R15, apparently not looks similar. The aggressive looking compact street runner M-Slaz boast a 149 cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine to get the max power of 17 PS at 8,000 rpm and peak torque of 15 Nm at 7,500 rpm with the incorporated a 6-speed gearbox to transfer that power to propell the motorcycle. On suspension end, it uses an upside down telescopic front fork, which is likely to be fitted on to the version 3.0 of R15 and mono shock suspension at rear.

Recently on a drive it has also been noticed that it can attain the top speed of 140 Kmph on the top gear by pulling full throttle for a long while. If talks about M-Slaz Indian launch, after Bangladesh arrival of the compact street racer, undoubtedly, the probability of bike’s Indian launch increase and lately, Mr. Roy Kurian also hinted to bring a new 150cc motorcycle in India, which will fill the gap between FZ and R15 and be priced between Rs 1 Lakh. It may be Yamaha M-Slaz, to know the truth, need to be more patient and wait until, officially, nothing has been unveiled by the Japanese giant.
