The American Multinational Company: Hewlett-Packard has disseminated the marketplace of tablets by introducing its brilliantly-engineered device, Pro Tablet 608 G1. Based on Microsoft's Windows platform, gadget has been boasted to offer purpose-built business mobility, impressive productivity, pleasant professional experience along with great audio support for humanized digital assistant: Cortana.
Featuring metal-reinforced chassis, tab has an 8-inch diagonal multi-touch display protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 4 that offers a high pixel resolution of 2048x1536p. Touching the subject of imaging, Pro Tablet 608 G1 is outfitted with an 8-megapixel rear shooter and houses a 2-megapixel camera on its front panel for web conferencing as well as for clicking selfies.
This plus-sized handheld is integrated with Intel Atom Quad Core Z8500 processor accompanied by Intel HD Graphics. It incorporates a promising 21 WHr Li-ion polymer battery that delivers eight hours of lifespan. In terms of memory, manufacturer has chosen to provide various choices, so consumers will be able to select between 2GB and 4GB RAM. In terms of internal storage, it will come in three models: 32GB, 64GB and 128GB. Notably, inbuilt memory of tab is expandable up to 2TB via a microSD card.
Coming to connectivity, it assimilates Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, NFC functionality in its shell and will be procurable in 3G or 4G options. Moreover, HP Pro Tablet 608 G1 measures 137 x 207 x 8.35mm scale and weighs 420 grams. According to an official blog post, incorporating Windows 8.1 Pro, tablet could hit the shelves of retail stores in July with a price tag of $479 (Rs. 30,464) and will ship with pre-installed Windows 10 starting in August.
