Same in Specs with Different OS, HP Pro Tablet 10 EE and Pro Slate 10 EE

Hewlett-Packard seems quite desperate to extend its business in a new direction of business tablets. The Company has unveiled a range of devices in New York. Two among them are Pro Slate 10 EE and Pro Tablet 10 EE. Both are developed to meet with the professionals’ needs.  

HP Pro Tablet 10 EE and Pro Slate 10 EE feature the same 10.1 inch IPS display that offer 1,280 x 800 pixels resolution. Both have several same specs. However, they differ on the software front. The Pro Tablet 10 EE runs on Windows 8.1 platform while the Pro Slate 10 EE operates on Android 4.4 KitKat OS. Both are powered by the same Intel’s Atom processor and HD Graphics.  If you are professional, then you should go for the Windows 8.1 based device. Otherwise, you can select the Android powered tablet.

HP Pro Tablet 10 EE

Both come paired with a 1GB RAM. Company is also offering two storage options (16/32GB) with both of these devices. You can   expand this storage upto 128GB using microSDXC card. On connectivity side, the handset offers Wi-fi, Bluetooth 4.0, and mobile broadband with GPS. On imaging front, this device comes embedded with 3MP rear camera and 1.26MP front camera. Company is also offering another variant with 5MP rear camera with LED flash and 2MP front camera.

Both measure 280 x 14.4 x 182mm and have Micro-USB 2.0, Micro-HDMI, 3.5mm combo audio ports. HP Pro Tablet 10 EE and Pro Slate 10 EE are fueled by the same 29.6Wh battery. Overall, both tablets are good at their places t the price of $279 and $299 respectively.
