Samsung Galaxy Tab A with 4G Connectivity Made its Way to India

Samsung, the most prominent brand in the world of mobiles and tablets has a bevy of devices under development stage such as Galaxy Note 5, Galaxy S6 edge Plus, Galaxy A8, Galaxy Tab S2 and Tizen-running Z2 smartphone, which are expected to be launched in coming months. Meanwhile, this South Korean firm has turned its focus towards Indian space and brought two tablets, called Galaxy Tab E and Galaxy Tab A. Well, we have already given a lowdown on 9.6-inch large Tab E, so let's talk about Tab A.

To recall, with a price tag of of $229.99 (Roughly Rs. 14,666), Samsung Galaxy Tab A had touched the soil of US in April as a Wi-Fi only tab. But now, manufacturer has chosen to make an improvement on the connectivity front, so machine supports 4G networks. Consequently, it carries a higher price tag of Rs. 20,500 in domestic marketplace.

Coming to other specs, gadget bears an 8-inch PLS TFT display that produces a pixel resolution of 1024 x 768p. Running on Android 5.0 Lollipop OS, it houses a 1.2 GHz Quad-Core processor and fueled by a 4200mAh battery. Memory-wise, handheld is paired with 1.5GB RAM along with 16GB ROM (Expandable via a microSD card up to 128GB).

In terms of imaging, Samsung Galaxy Tab A is fitted with a 5-megapixel rear shooter along with a 2-megapixel selfie snapper. Moreover, it measures 137.9 x 208.4 x 7.5 mm scale, weighs 320 grams and will be available in Smoky Titanium and White color options. As reported by IBTimes, tablet will go on sale via both physical and online retail stores from this month.
