The 3G-enabled Samsung Galaxy Tab E Announced for India

Soon after listing the Wi-Fi only Galaxy Tab E on official Taiwanese website, Samsung has brought its 3G-capable variant in India. As reported by IBTimes, the South Korean Corporation has labeled the tablet with a price tag of Rs. 16,900 for the native space and designed two color models of gadget, namely-Metallic Black and Perl White.

Notably, tech giant has smartened-up its creation for the highly-competitive marketplace of India, so Galaxy Tab E assimilates 3G and voice-calling options. The device also offers Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, micro-USB and GPS functionality of connectivity front. Running on Android 4.4 KitKat operating system, it bears a 9.6-inch TFT screen with a pixel resolution of 1280 x 800p. Coming to memory, tab is arrayed with 1.3GHz quad-core Spreadtrum SC7730SE processor and powered by a 5000 mAh battery.

The novel scion of Galaxy Tab lineup accommodates 1.5GB RAM alongside 8GB of inbuilt memory, which can be extended up to 128GB via a microSD card. Moving towards the camera department, this plus-sized handheld is unified with a 5.0-megapixel primary camera along with a 2-megapixel front shooter. Moreover, device will go on sale exclusively via an E-commerce site: Flipkart in the end of June, but we are yet to hear an exact date of availability.

Well, Samsung has made a good attempt to capture more market shares in domestic space, but this realm is not so easy for any gadget to soar. If we will take look at the listing of currently present tablets in same price category, then Lenovo Tab S8, iBall Slide Brace X1, Dell Venue 8 & 7 and HP Slate 6 Voice Tab II are the biggest opponents of Galaxy Tab E.
