3G Variant of Nokia 3310 (2017) is Likely to Launch in Late September or Early October

The Nokia 3310 (2017) was launched by HMD Global in previous month and the phone is available for sale in markets across the Globe at a price of Rs 3,310. But one of the problems with this feature phone, it does not support 3G. According to the latest reports, the 3G Variant of the improved Nokia 3310 will be launched either in late September or earlier October.

While responding a query on twitter Irish Telecom Carrier called Three Ireland Online said that the improved version i.e 3G of the Nokia 3310 (2017) will be launching either in early September or late October. As per the reports by Nokiapoweruser, now the tweet has been deleted by them. To recall, US FCC website has listed that the improved version of Nokia 3310 (2017) will come in in same height and width as the original Nokia 3310 (2017).

The Nokia 3310 (2017) sports a 2.4-inch QVGA (240x320 pixel) color display as compared to a 48x84 pixel resolution of the original. It runs on Nokia Series 30+ OS and features with a 16MB storage that can be further expanded up to 32GB via a microSD card. The phone features a 2- mega megapixel rear camera along with LED flash and also offers FM radio. It is powered by a 1200mAh battery which provides 22-hour talk-time and month-long standby time.

The 2G variant of Nokia 3310 (2017) was launched at a price of Rs. 3,310 in India, whereas, the price of the 3G variant of the feature phone is slightly higher than the 2G variant in the country.
