Blackberry Key 2 LE Specifications Appears on the Internet

Blackberry, the Canadian smartphone manufacturer seems to be working on the step-down version of Blackberry Key 2 likely to be dubbed as Blackberry Key 2 LE. To recall, the Blackberry Key 2 was launched on 7th June at an event in New York.

The design and specifications of an alleged Blackberry Key 2 LE has appeared on the internet recently in the form of leaks. It is anticipated that the Blackberry Key 2 LE would be unveiled at IFA during this year and would be cheaper than recently launched Blackberry Key 2.

In a recent report, the BlackBerry KEY2 LE has a similar keyboard that we have earlier seen on Blackberry KEYone. It is anticipated that Key 2 LE is likely to come with the same shortcut button that were first unveiled in Key 2. It seems that trackpad functionality will be missing in the upcoming Key 2 LE.

Blackberry Key 2 LE Rumored Specifications

According to the report, the BlackBerry KEY2 LE will come with similar 4.5-inch full-HD+ LCD panel along with 1080 x 1620 pixels. The Blackberry Key 2 LE is likely to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 SoC coupled with 4GB of RAM and 32GB/ 64GB of inbuilt storage, whereas the Blackberry Key 2 has a Snapdragon 660 SoC.

The pricing and availability details of upcoming Blackberry smartphone is not mentioned in the report.

In terms of photography, the alleged KEY2 LE is likely to come with dual rear cameras consisting of 13-megapixel primary sensor and 5-megapixel secondary sensor. However, the recently launched Blackberry Key 2 comes with dual 12-megapixel sensors.

The report suggests that it would be powered by a smaller 3,000mAh battery under the hood. The dimensions and weight of the smartphone are expected to be 150.25x71.8x8.35mm and 156 grams respectively.
