Blu Unveiled Vivo 5, Vivo XL Smartphones At CES 2016

Blu, the US based smartphone manufacturing company has unveiled two new android smartphones dubbed as Vivo 5 and Vivo XL at CES 2016 trade show in Las Vegas. Both the smartphones will be available to purchase in US next month.

The Blu Vivo 5 will be priced at $199 (approximately Rs. 13,250) and Vivo XL at $149 (approximately Rs. 10,000). The smartphones will be go on sale via Amazon and BestBuy.com in the US. The Vivo XL is designed with a liquid metal and the Vivo 5 features a full metal design.

Both the smartphones features a lot of identical specs. The smartphones are featuring a 5.5-inch Super Amoled display with a screen resolution of 720*1280 pixels and a pixel density of 267ppi. Both the smartphones are layered with corning Gorilla Glass 3 for the protection. They are powered by an octa core MediaTek MT6753 processor and clubbed with 2GB of RAM. Both the smartphones run on Andrpoid 5.1 Lollipop based operating system and are said to be upgradable to Android 6.0 Marshmallow.

Blu Vivo XL

The major difference between both the smartphones is that the Vivo 5 features a 3GB of RAM and has the inbuilt storage of 32GB. While Vivo XL packs 2GB of RAM and has the native storage of 16GB. Both the devices can be expanded up to 64GB via microSD card slot expansion.

On the camera front, both the smartphones are loaded with 13 megapixel camera at the rear end with LED flash light and 5 megapixel front facing camera on the board.The rear camera of Blu Vivo 5 features PDAF (phase detection auto-focus). Both the smartphones sport dual SIM and 4G LTE connectivity options. They are backed by 3150mAh battery.

The Blu Vivo 5 measures 151.9*74.6*6.9mm and weighs 141 grams while Vivo XL measures 155.2*82.2*7.5 and weighs 152 grams. The Vivo 5 will be available in White-Silver and Gold color variants while Vivo Xl will be available in Chrome Silver, Liquid Gold, Midnight Blue and Rose Gold colours.
