Gionee F103 launched with 1GB, 3GB RAM variants in India

After the launch of Gionee F103 in September, the company has marked the device to provide a new edge. The device has been once again announced with the two sizzling variants of RAM size in the handset. The device was earlier unveiled with 2GB Ram at Rs. 9,999, but now it has been announced with two more unique variants as 1GB and 3GB RAM models.

The cost of 1GB RAM variant is Rs. 8,499, while 3GB RAM variant sports a price tag of Rs. 10,999. The device has similar specifications as listed before. It has a 5-inch HD (720x1280 pixels) IPS display that is protected by Dragontrail glass from scratches. It runs Android 5.0 Lollipop with the Amigo 3.0 skin on top. It grabs its power from a 64-bit 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6735 processor. The device will be offered in Pearl White, Dawn White and Black color variants.

The dual SIM device features 16GB inbuilt storage that is expandable via microSD card (up to 32GB). On the snapper’s edge, it has an 8-megapixel rear autofocus camera with LED flash and f/2.2 aperture, while it packs a 5-megapixel front camera. Measuring 146x70.3x7.95mm, the smartphone packs 2400mAh battery. The connectivity options include 4G LTE band and other explorable options as Wi-Fi, GPS/ A-GPS, GPRS/ EDGE, 3G, Bluetooth and Micro-USB.

The smartphone has a metal frame with a glass back pane. It further supports both the LTE bands in India and can be compared to the devices like Lenovo K3 Note, Xiaomi Redmi Note 4G and Motorola 3rd Gen. the Chinese handset maker has put on its foot in the Indian market with a manufacturing unit as Foxconn plant at Visakhapatnam. The make in India handsets will be furnishing the market in March 2016, with F103 being labeled as the made in India product.
