China's QiKU Unveiled Terra 808, Terra 810 Smartphones in India

QiKU, a joint venture firm between the Chinese Internet company Qihoo 360 and the handset maker Coolpad, has announced that the company is planning to sell its smartphones in India. In the beginning, the company set to launch the QiKU Terra 808 and Qiku Terra 810 in the country.

The company claims that both the handsets offer a high end specifications. The company also said that, the smartphone features a secure payment option that uses a dedicated VPN for payment apps.

 At the specification side, the QiKU Terra 810 said to feature a 6-inch QHD display with a resolution pixel of 1440*2560 and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor. The device is having the native storage of 64GB which is further expandable via MicroSD card slot expansion and clubs a 4GB of RAM.

At the photography section, the smartphone is loaded with 13 megapixel camera at the rear end, with Sony IMX278 sensors of aperture f/ 1.8 while bears an 8 megapixel snapper at the front end. The device is backed by 3700mAh battery.

The company doesn’t reveal much information about the QiKu Terra 808 but told that it will unveil information about the final pricing and full specifications of the handsets at the time of launching. The smartphone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 SoC. It is loaded with 13 megapixel front camera with Sony IMX278 sensors and an 8 megapixel front facing camera.

The Terra line up smartphone is available in china with a starting price of $314 (roughly Rs.20,700). The company hasn’t revealed any dates for the availability of the smartphone in India.
