hTC Desire 626 Launched in Home Country for Shutterbugs

The Taiwanese tech giant hTC has decided to gift something new to its home country on this Valentine by launching Desire 626. Refusing all the canards for its MWC launch, the company has made it official as mid-range device in Taiwan. This phone gives the feel of holding a high-end device which doesn’t want a big penny to spend on it. Just $199 will make this handset yours.

hTC Desire 626 comes in two color options. Blue surrounding on black color gives this handset an elegant look. It flaunts a 5-inch display that is capable in offering 1280x720 pixels resolution, that’s good for a mid-range device. Powering this smartphone, company has given it Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 chipset that works with 1.2GHz quad-core Cortex-A53 CPU to enhance the performance. To make the multitasking smooth and impeccable, a 1GB RAM is also crafted inside the device with compelling power. It runs on the Android 4.4 KitKat OS on top of HTC Sense UI.

When going deep inside the specification section, what we have seen is the 16GB built-in storage that can further be expandable using microSD card upto 128GB. To comfy shutterbugs, hTC has integrated a 13-megapixel camera on rear side with LED flash, BSI sensor and f/2.2 aperture. Company has not forgotten selfie au courant also; crafting 5-megapixel imager on front panel craftsmen has done a good job. A dual front speaker is also there as signature of the hTC.

To efficiently work with all applications and functions, a battery of 2,000mAh capacity is also there with upto 30 hours of 3G talk-time and upto 760 hours of stand-by time. Desire 626  on the other side comes loaded with several connectivity features like Bluetooth 4.0, single-band Wi-Fi 802.11n, LTE and many others.
