Intex Brings New Cloud-series Smartphone for INR 4999

Nowadays, it has become very common for smartphone manufacturers to release brand new variants of their old smartphones or a complete brand new handset keeping in mind the general requirements of its user base. In the latest update, home grown manufacturer Intex has brought a brand new Cloud-series smartphone in India which now is also listed on the official website and is priced just for INR 4,999. It is expected to be made available soon in India.

Intex Cloud Force 5-inch FWVGA display with Gorilla Glass Protection

The smartphone dubbed as Intex Cloud Force features a 5-inch FWVGA display giving a resolution of 480x854 pixels and further comes with Corning Gorilla Glass protection. The handset is a dual-SIM variant that operates on Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system.

In terms of hardware specs, it is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core Spreadtrum SC7731 processor paired with 1GB of RAM and offers 8GB of inbuilt storage that can be expandable up to 32GB using microSD card. The Cloud Force sports a 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and slow motin video recording and also packs a 0.3-megapixel front camera.

The handset gets powered by a 2500mAh battery that can give up to 9 hours of talk time and up to 250 hours of standby time. The smartphone offers GPRS/ EDGE, 3G, A-GPS, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, and Micro-USB in the connectivity options and comes preloaded with apps like Matrabhasha, 360 security, OLX, Goibibo, Freecharge, Newshunt, Follo, Hike, Chaatz, Saavn, and Opera mini. Dimensionally, the handset measures 145.3x72x9.5mm and carries a weight of 158 grams.

It must be noted that Intex also launched another handset with the same price tag of INR 4,999 dubbed as Intex Aqua 4G Strong that too is listed on the company's website though without any availability details.

In terms of specifications, ther Aqua 4G Strong features a 4-inch WVGA display having a resolution of 480*800 pixels. The device offers a pixel density of 233ppi and runs on Android 5.1 based Lollipop operating system out of the box. It is powered by a 1GHz quad-core MediaTek (MT6735M) processor coupled with 768MB of RAM and supports 4G LTE and VoLTE services that make it compatible with the upcoming Reliance Jio 4G network.
