Intex Launches Another Aqua Series Smartphone Intex Aqua GenX in India at Rs. 13299

Earlier this month Intex Technologies, launched a new smartphone under its Cloud-series, namely Cloud Flash at an affordable price range and now, adding a cherry to the cake, the Indian smart phone manufacturer has unveiled a new flagship smart phone into the market under its Aqua series namely Aqua GenX at a price of INR 13,299. Alongside Intex Aqua GenX, Intex also launched two low-end devices called the Intex Cloud Zest smartphone and Intex Aqua Air.

Till date, Intex had been launching a number of affordable handsets in the Indian smart phone market and now with the launch of high-priced smart phone, the company has successfully made its way into the list of high-end spec handsets as well. At the launch even Sanjay Kumar Kalirona, who happens to be the Mobile Business Head of Intex Technologies said, Intex has always ensured quality products for its consumers and considering the cluttered market of feature rich phone, Aqua GenX is purely pragmatic in nature. With the launch of GenX, we have given the industry and consumers premium experience at a remarkable price for everyone to own it. GenX is a combination of supreme configuration device which users willingly to pay.

If reports are to be believed the new Intex Aqua GenX smart phone would be available in two colour variants such as Silver and Champagne. On the specs front, the Intex Aqua GenX features a 5.5-inch full-HD IPS display which comes with a DragonTrail glass coating that protects the smartphone from getting damaged. It also comes with a pixel resolution of 1080×1920 pixels and is powered by a MediaTek MT6753 octa-core SoC processor clocked at 1.3GHz coupled with 2GB of RAM. Storage of a smart phone is one of the contributing factors to decide its market sales, and hence the new Intex smart phone comes with an inbuilt storage capacity of 16GB that can be further expanded up to 128GB via external MicroSD card. As of now, there is no official report from the company's end if it would receive the Android 6.0 Marshmallow upgrade or not, but keeping in mind the current trend the device had been supported with Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system.

Apart from all the above mentioned features, it is a dual-SIM smart phone that comes equipped with a 13-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front-facing snapper inclusive of Gloves Mode feature. The device comes with another user friendly service called Matrabhasha, a service that facilitates communication in 21 regional languages including Hindi. In terms of Connectivity, the smartphone supports 4G-LTE, 3G, and Wi-Fi along with other usual connectivity options and is power-packed by a 2800mAh battery on-board. Though the phone is dual-SIM, but the user needs to take out the MicroSD card for putting in the second SIM.
