Of late, Apple has been making a lot of rounds in the media due to several reasons that majorly includes its fight with FBI officials, launching of its two major flagship products iPhone SE and 9.7-inch iPad Pro and many others. Another latest reports from the media ends report that now the company is planning to dump aluminium casing and enforce an all-glass design on its next upcoming iOS smartphone.

The new claims (by means of 9to5mac) have been made by reliable KGI Securities expert Ming-Chi Kuo who states that apart from the all-glass design, the company will also settle on AMOLED screen boards - something that has been rumored for some time.
One of the major reasons which experts believe is letting Apple go for this design change from aluminium to Glass is that today large number of tech companies are moving forward to making use of Aluminium and to stand apart from the rest of the crowd, the organization has decided for this makeover. However, the analyst doesn't specify as to how will the company actually do so but does adds that drop test won't be an issue for all glass iPhone. Further, Kuo also claims that this year Apple may not roll out major design changes to its upcoming iPhone 7 and that Apple might stick with the same outline and shape this year while sparing the real plan patch up for the year 2017.
Apple normally presents significant configuration changes in the alternate generation's where the newly revealed "S" speaks of a completely new design upgrade. For this reason, there have been some speculations as to what this year's model may be called which led to some rumored names like iPhone 6SE naming scheme. However, if the company goes with the iPhone 7 name then its next year product might get the iPhone 8 moniker instead of iPhone 7s emphasizing the revolutionary new design. Some even suggest the name to be as iPhone X marking the 10th anniversary of the smartphone lineup.

But, all these rumors must be taken with a pinch of salt as Apple is yet to confirm their legitimacy and there is no official information from the company's end about the upcoming devices. The reports of KGI's Ming-Chi Kuo also explained that the new iPhone accepted to be named iPhone 7, may see a lower sale in comparison to the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus. Another famous rumour that has captivated the users from a long time is the removal of standard 3.5mm sound jack and the presence of a double camera setup.
