Moto G 4th Gen, Moto G4 Plus Launch Expected On June 9

The Motorola highly awaited smartphone Motorola Moto G (Gen 4) and the Moto G4 Plus are expected to be launched on June 9, this year. Earlier, the company has faced a significant number of online leaks by means of recordings and pictures and, now, it has been rumoured that these flagship products by Motorola will be officially launched on 9th June 2016. On Thursday amid the launch of the Zuk Z2 Pro smartphone, Lenovo CEO Yang Yuanqing hinted that Motorola will dispatch the smartphone on June 9, reports GizmoChina.

Lenovo acquired Motorola from Google in late 2014

To recall, Zuk is Lenovo's brand, while Lenovo finished its acquisition of Motorola from Google in late 2014. Yuanqing did not give any more points of interest in the matter of what else the company will launch at the given date. However, with the increasing number of leaks and rumours for the Moto G 4th Gen. and the Moto G4 Plus, it is likely the company might launch one of them.

Expected Moto G4 Plus Leaked image

Prior this week both the Moto G (Gen 4) model and the Moto G4 Plus spilled independently in a video and a picture. The spilled picture revealed the white-shaded Moto G4 Plus having a square-formed unique fingerprint sensor put as a home button, a speaker grille, a front-facing camera, and the rear camera with flash and autofocus sensors enclosed in a pill-shaped module and a dimple with the company logo below the camera.

The video on YouTube demonstrated the alleged Moto G (Gen 4) without the unique fingerprint sensor seen on the Moto G4 Plus. The dark shaded handset is being compared with 2014 Moto X model and plainly appeared to be somewhat greater in size than some other Moto G handsets. The video likewise also demonstrated its Active Display technology, something that has been there in the Motorola handsets for a long time.
