OnePlus 3 And OnePlus 3T Starts Getting Android 7.0 Nougat Update

OnePlus, the leading Chinese smartphone manufacturing and developing firm, being honest to its statement before the end of 2016, has started rolling out Android Nougat update to its flagship smartphones OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T. The company before the end of 2016 had promised that it will deliver Android 7.0 update to its flagship models in the first month of 2017. This new update will give an overall renovation to your smartphone. The main features which come in the new update are as follows.

New Notification Design

OnePlus gives you the best Android N experience, it gets a new notification bar, which is designed for Oxygen OS 4. The new notification bar from now will allow you to take any action on any notification without even opening that app. For example, a user will now be able to reply any message without even opening the application.

Built-in Display Scaling

The OnePlus smartphone comes with a large display size, which includes bigger fonts and icons. The new update of the OnePlus OS, will allow you to change the scale (size) of the texts and icons on your screen.

Simplified Layout

The new update also brings a new option of a simplified layout of your home screen. In this new option, your home screen will turn into a basic design, which includes a clock widget along with 9 most used applications at your home screen and rest widgets will be in the Widget Shelf. So, after getting the device updated, every user will be able to switch between standard layout and simplified layout very easily.

Status Bar Icon Options

The new update will now allow customizing the status bar icons of the handset. Any user, after the update, you can simply go to the status bar and chose the icons which he/she wants to keep in the status bar. The user can also remove any unwanted option, which is placed in the status bar.

Apart from these, the new update also features new setting menu design, Multi-Window view, improved shelf customisation, and easy switching the application by double tapping on the back button. The updates have already been started to roll out and will reach to every user in next few days.
