After the announcement of OnePlus 3T in India, this has been the most awaited smartphone across the country. Now, OnePlus India has finally announced the date of the arrival of the upcoming smartphone. Vikas Agarwal, General Manager, OnePlus India in a recent tweet has announced that the new OnePlus 3T will be launched on December 2 this year across the country.
The Chinese smartphone manufacturer has already confirmed that it will continue selling OnePlus 3 smartphones across the country. The OnePlus 3 just spent 5 months in Indian market and the company is now starting to roll out its upgraded version, which means that the people of India can choose from any of the smartphones. It will be interesting to see the selling strategies of the company for both the smartphones.
The upcoming OnePlus 3T handset is blessed with a similar designing language, yet there are some upgraded specifications in the upcoming model including the latest Snapdragon 821 SoC, a bumped front facing camera, a new 128GB variant and a new colour variant as well. Along with these new updates the new handset will also come with a really affordable price hike. US has started receiving the new handsets, roll outs will start in Europe from Saturday and in UK from Monday.
Concerning about the specifications, OnePlus 3T will be powered by a new quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor upgraded from the previous Snapdragon 820 processor in OnePlus 3. An extended option of 128GB is also provided by the company for the upcoming model instead of just a single 64GB model in OnePlus 3. Talking about the optical part, the handset will be blessed with 16-megapixel front and rear cameras, with superior picture quality.
The OnePlus 3T smartphone will be backed up by a bigger 3400mAh battery, with a dash charging facility as well. The 64GB model of the new handset will be seen priced at 439 USD (Rs 29,800 approx) while the 128GB model will be available at 479 USD (Rs 32,500 approx).
