OnePlus has now come up with the most awaited smartphone of the company dubbed as OnePlus 3T. The company put the curtains off the smartphone on Friday in the country, which will be available at a price rate of Rs 29,999 for the 64GB variant and Rs 34,999 for the 128GB variant. Bothe of the smartphone variants will be exclusively available from 12.01 am IST on December 14 via company’s official online retail partner Amazon India.
The Android smartphone had made its global debut in last month this year and had been rolled out for sale in the US, Europe and the UK since then. The handset has arrived with some changes in the specifications as compared to its predecessor OnePlus 3. The company stated that it will start manufacturing the recently arrived smartphone in India from next month.
The changes with which the devices has arrived includes a faster processor, a higher resolution camera, a long lasting battery, and increased build storage. The company this time has introduced a new Gunmetal colour variant in the place of Graphite colour variant of the original OnePlus 3. The 128GB variant of the handset will only be available in the Gunmetal colour variant in the country.
As per the other specifications of the handset are concerned, the Dual-SIM smartphone is blessed with an anodised aluminium metal unibody design language along with a fingerprint sensor mounted on the home button and an Alert slider. The handset features a 5.5-inch Optic AMOLED display of resolution 1080X1920 pixels and Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection. Powering the device is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 SoC (with two 1.6GHz Kyro cores and two 2.35GHz Kyro cores) paired with 6GB of LPDDR4 RAM.
The GSM handset comes with a 16-megapixel rear camera along with a Sony IMX298 sensor, an f/2.0 aperture, OIS and EIS, and PDAF Autofocus. A 16-megapixel front shooter is also provided by the company with a Samsung 3P8SP sensor and f/2.0 aperture. As we have mentioned above, the smartphone will be available in 64GB and 128GB memory variants.
The OnePlus 3T smartphone is backed up by a 3400mAh battery along with the company’s dash charging (5V 4A) support for fast charging. Connectivity options on the board include 4G LTE (with support for India’s LTE bands), Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 4.2, NFC, USB 2.0 Type-C, 3.5mm headphone jack, and GPS/A-GPS.
