After receiving a lot of accolades, flagship killer: OnePlus One smartphone is now facing some hurdles along the headway. The China based manufactur, OnePlus is encountering various allegations due its hugely-talked creation. Notably, the consumers have accused that company is selling refurbished handsets and labelled them as brand new.
On the blog post of firm, many customers have filed complaints that they have received used models of the mobile phone. Discussing about those listed seven cases, then customers have claimed that packaging of phone was tampered and their box was not factory sealed. Some of them found dust and scratches on new mobile phone. Also, it has been averred that smartphone has been dispatched to them with completely loaded and set operating system that has been attributed to a software glitch.
Other complaints say, apart from a graphic screen protector, gadget's screen had been covered with an old screen guard, which is suggesting that delivered model is secondhand. Moreover, a buyer also encountered som issues with camera because he found a deleted image, which can be supposed that unit's camera has been used by someone.
As yet, corporation has replied to seven serious accusations, where it has assured to start an extensive investigation for substantial claims. Firm has stated that they are taking every matter very seriously and working to ship every single phone in absolute-perfect condition. Whereas, providing an explanation for all allegations, it has contradicted some of the users' reports and stated that “We have of course never sold a used or refurbished phone labelled as new (or otherwise).”
