Phicomm to Launch Energy E670 Smartphone in India at INR 5,499

One of the most popular Chinese smartphone maker Phicomm is now all set to launch its new entry-level Energy E670 smartphone in India priced at INR 5,499. As of now the smartphone is available for purchase only on e-commerce website Snapdeal, but it is expected that the company would be making an official announcement soon.

This to-be-launched smartphone is quite similar to its previous flagship Phicomm Energy 653, however, one thing that differs both the handsets is that the Phicomm Energy E670 packs twice the memory than the Energy 653 smartphone. Post official launch, this will rival against other budget-friendly smartphones like Xiaomi Redmi 2 and Motorola Moto E (2nd Gen.)

One of the most highlighting factor of the Energy E670 smartphone is that it supports both 1800MHz (Band 3) and 2300MHz (Band 40) LTE bands used by telecom companies to provide 4G services in India. It is a dual-SIM variant that runs on Android Lollipop v5.1 OS and comes with a 5-inch HD IPS display. The smartphone is powered by a 1.1GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 processor and offers 2GB of RAM.

On the memory front, it comes equipped with 16GB inbuilt storage, which is further expandable up to 64GB via microSD card. It sports an 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash while on the front side it comes with a 2-megapixel camera. It houses 2300mAh battery and offers all the standard connectivity options that include both 4G and 3G services. Dimensionally it measure 144x70x8mm and will be made available in two color variants namely Black and White.
