ZTE Small Fresh 4 Unveiled With 4G VoLTE Support At INR 11,000

The Chinese firm ZTE has come forward with a brand new Android smartphone for its China user base. The smartphone dubbed as Small Fresh 4 has been priced nearly for CNY 1,090 (that amounts to Rs 11,000) and it is expected to go on sale in the country by the end of this month.

The smartphone in terms of the display comes with a 5.2-inch full HD display and comes with additional 2.5D curved glass on the front side for extra protection to eyes. Additionally, the GSM-handset comes with a 1.5GHz MediaTek processor coupled with 2GB of RAM. The processor is an octa-core processor whilst, the device offers 16GB of built-in storage with expansion support using an external microSD card. The company has not yet disclosed the maximum capacity up to which the storage can be expanded.

Unlike other Dual-SIM smartphones, the device offers support for only one SIM and operates on latest Android OS i.e., Android M v6.0. The device also comes with a fingerprint sensor at the back end coupled with a 13-megapixel camera. There is also a support of 5-megapixel camera on the front side.

The company is unveiling the handset in three color variants namely: Silver, Gold and Rose Gold. It supports GPRS/ EDGE, 4G, GPS/ A-GPS, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and Micro-USB options in terms of connectivity and houses a 2450mAh battery which not much can surely be considered as a decent one.

The company is yet to divulge details on the prospects of this smartphone future as in whether the product would be getting launched in other parts of the world or not. As per the reports, it is known that Playfuldroid was the first one to find and report about the new handset.

One must recall that the company unveiled ZTE Nubia N1 as well for nearly Rs 17,200 (CNY 1,699) that too operated on Android Marshmallow OS with an additional layering of company's default Nubia 4.0 UI on the top. The device offers Dual-SIM support and features a 5.5-inch full HD display giving a resolution of 1920x1080 pixels with pixel density of 401ppi.

Under the hood, the Android smartphone is powered by a 1.8GHz Mediatek Helio P10 octa-core SoC paired with 3GB of RAM and offers 64GB of inbuilt storage with an expansion support up to 128GB via the hybrid microSD slot that can also be used as second SIM slot.

Other specifications which define the smartphone includes the presence of a 13-megapixel camera on both front and rear end. It also comes with a 5000mAh battery and in terms of connectivity offers 4G LTE with VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS + GLONASS, and USB Type-C support.
