Google Developing A New Operating System For IoT Gadgets

Google is actively working on a new Operating System (OS) for the IoT (Internet of Things) devices. This new OS is secretly named, Fuchsia. More interesting about the Fuchsia, it will be the first OS by Google which is not based on the Linux kernel.

However, there are no official words from the tech-giant on developing this all new Fuchsia OS. But in the recent days, Google released the project on GitHub. The highly encoded description reads Pink + Purple = Fuchsia, which suggests a new operating system.

Further, after the deep research on the classified documents by the Android Police, the outcomes explain that the new OS is mainly developing to target the IoT devices and embedded hardware. The swift increase of tech products in the space would probably inspire the Google to make an all new OS which should be light in weight and compatible with all modern IoT hardware.

If the reports are further considered, the Fuchsia OS will also be designed to power the smartphones and desktops in the near future, in order to make them lightweight and compact.

Another report suggests, the tech major's Fuchsia OS will only build for IoT gadgets and no plans to replace its Linux-based Android and Chrome OS with it. As the company is making the IoT devices such as OnHub and Google Home, and this lightweight OS will help to pair smoothly with these devices.

Finally, on the basis of above reports it has confirmed that Google’s upcoming OS will be light in weight, but target which devices and more about it, yet to come out from the Google.
