HTC Bolt: First HTC Branded Phone With Android Nougat

HTC, the Taiwanese techno manufacturing and developing firm has announced that the company’s upcoming HTC Bolt smartphone will be its first model to come fueled with Android 7.1 Nougat.

Android Nougat

A question may arise in many people’s mind that recently released Google Pixel and Pixel XL smartphones are the first gadgets to come with Android N which is even claimed by the company, however, in this race of who brought forward Android N for the first time, it looks like Google lies ahead in competition, since HTC didn’t manufacture those products which seem correct since there is no such trademark logo of HTC over those smartphones.

LlabTooFer, HTC ROM developer stated that Bolt will be fueled with Android 7.1 along with HTC’s Sense 8 UI, which is exactly the same that can be seen in HTC 10. The Android smartphone also shares some other specifications with HTC 10 like the metallic design, front mounted fingerprint sensor and a rear camera with LED flash.

Bolt was initially announced only for the U.S territory, but now it looks like plans have changed a bit. The smartphone as of now would also be arriving in Africa, Europe and Asia. U.S will though be the first to get this phone in the market.

No other details about the handset have been revealed yet, but it is believed to be an exciting and cool device to go on with.
