JBL New Sweat-Proof In-Ear Noise Cancelling Headphones Launched

JBL has finally launched a new in-ear noise cancelling headphones dubbed the Reflect Aware C, which have a USB Type-C connector to interact with smartphones. The earphones can get both sound and power from the cell phone itself through the USB connection, and hence do not require any charging and can completely depend on the built-in battery, just like the case with other noise-cancelling headphones.

Apart from this, the earphones are also sweat-proof and sports a fin-style ear tip that keep them steady while the user is running or working out. The Noise can be controlled through the in-line remote, which features volume control and a receiver for hands-free usage. The Reflect Aware C earphones are fueled by 14.8mm drivers.

JBL has not specified any details of interest on availability or estimated price for the Reflect Aware C, that got released just alongside the launch of new HTC 10 smartphone. This handset, alongside other famous models, like the Nexus 5X, Nexus 6P, and Xiaomi Mi 5 to supports USB Type-C network and taking into account the popularity, it's expected that other earphone producers might dispatch USB Type-C earphones in the coming months, that further gets fueled by the fact that now more and more Android smartphone manufacturers are adopting the Type-C connector and port.

This also proves that Android devices are following the footsteps of iPhone maker Apple, which is rumoured to disengage the 3.5mm earphone attachment on the iPhone 7, that would increase the usage of Lightning connector cables, similar to JBL Reflect Aware C that will connect to any type of Type-C port. One good factor that might keep the users cheerful is that despite having Type-C connector, smartphones like the HTC 10 and other Android cell phones also sports standard 3.5mm socket, so that doesn't limit the user to rely completely on the USB Type-C compatible earphones.
