Jio Comes With 1.5GB Data/Day Replacing 1GB Daily Plan And INR 60 Cut Down

Reliance Jio which has been the centre of attraction from the day it launched in India because of its promotional offerings in providing free data and unlimited calls. Now, the telecom giant is going to cut the prices of 1GB daily data plan up to Rs. 60 cut down in a term of a Happy New Year 2018 discount. This new offer discounts the base price plan with 1GB daily data at Rs. 199 to Rs. 149 for the plan.

Amazingly, this initiative will cancel the tariff repetition implemented during the October month by the company. Furthermore, the offer doesn’t end here as Jio will come with a range of plans with the offering of 1.5 GB data per day plan as a part of this practice. These offers will be implemented from Tuesday, January 9 with a host of offers on sidelines.

Jio 1.5 GB Plan

From Tuesday onwards, the plans which are priced at Rs. 199, Rs. 399, Rs. 459 and Rs. 499 will be amounting Rs. 149, Rs. 349, Rs. 399 and Rs. 449, serially. Other services like the calling, data allocation, access to free apps, and SMS benefits will be the same as before. The new offer with 1.5 GB data per day will be available at Rs. 498, Rs. 448, Rs. 398, and Rs. 198. Interestingly, the new offer will provide just 50% more data at the approximately similar price points comparing the previous plans.

Although, it is not mentioned yet that when a duration of this plan ends, we can expect more details on the effectiveness of this scheme on Tuesday. This new plan will come into effect ahead of Jio promotion plan of cashback and vouchers up to Rs. 3,300 finishes.

Counting the numbers, the telecom operator has 160 million users in India and has been following the market guidelines since the launch. As other telecom operators in a fight with Jio plans started offering more data with similar price points. This practice of Jio is the revert to other operators to sustain Jio users from moving to other telecom operators’ network.
