Joint Venture by Mukesh Ambani and Anil Ambani for 4G Services

Leading Tycoon brothers Mukesh Ambani and Anil Ambani are up-to the joint venture decision for 4G services on large scale for making huge profit. India is a leading market with the tech support of various company's. The Ambani brothers have decided to take part in the gigantic market by mutually agreeing upon combining Reliance Communications (RCOM), led by Anil Ambani and Reliance Jio Infocom, led by Mukesh Ambani, to sign a pact that will enable the Jio to offer fourth generation (4G) services over the 800 MHz band across 10 circles in India.

As stated by the matter's familiar person, the pact will allow Reliance Jio to access 10 MHz of contiguous 4G bandwidth in 10 circles and also 4th leading mobile carrier, Rcom will be benefited by gaining access over Jio’s 4G network in 10 circles (Mumbai, UP-East, Orissa, Madhya Pradesh, Bihar, Assam, Northeast, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh and Jammu & Kashmir) at virtually zero incremental capex costs.

It is also reported that, the central government has allowed sharing of airwaves between telecom companies, a move that would help in more efficient use of the scarce natural resource while improving quality of calls and data speeds, and possibly lower tariffs. The report further inked that, Rcom has applied to the telecom department (DoT) for permission to progressively liberalise its old 800 MHz spectrum holdings in all the 10 circles that were originally assigned without auctions at government-set prices.

The overall venture profit of 49 units has been made till date within 800MHz band across 10 circles at a price layout of Rs 7,876.42 crore in India's biggest spectrum sale in March. The spectrum would only be shared between two carriers in one service area, where both the licensees have same band airwaves as 2G, 3G or 4G.
