Just after a few hours of announcement made by the Apple for Hermes, Product Red and other bands for the Apple Watch, Peeble immediately announced the three new updates coming to the Pebble Time and Time Steel. The update which bumps to its microcode version brings a new features that will find to be very useful.
The first update of pebble watch resides a Quiet Mode to smartwatch, with abundance of custom settings. With this update, the users will be able to set the watch to silent at a certain time of the day, when a calender event happens. It silences the pebble notifications and vibrations when you want to focus elsewhere. It can toggle switch manually off and on. The quiet mode will block notifications and incoming calls.
The second update added up is the more battery life given to the Pebble Time. It keep the wearable into standby mode, if the watch has been remain stationery for longer than 30 minutes of time. It is a new power saving feature. Once you pick it up or move, it will connect again. This feature is still in beta testing, and is turned off by default. Pebble claims that Stand-By Mode can save upto 50% power when wearable is in its static position.
Standby turns of the Bluetooth receiver on the smartwatch and disable some notifications to appear.
The last update includes French, German and Spanish language support. This may help the millions of Americans who speak Spanish, and should give Pebble a broader preference in Europe and Latin America too.
All these three updates will be added to the next microcoded patch.
