2016 Yamaha YZF-R3 Received New Paint Scheme and Graphics

After launching a Special 60th Anniversary Limited Edition motorcycle, YZF-R1, at the Paul Ricard Circuit during the Bol D'Or race, the Japanese two-wheeler maker, Yamaha, has introduced new paint scheme for its quarter-liter motorcycle, named YZF- R3, in the Europe. Whereas, the 2016 YZF-R125 and R6 have also been tweaked with the new colors. Moreover, the YZF R3 gets a new Matt Grey paint scheme and highlighted with minimal red work over the body. The red stripe on the both wheels looks more appealing in the motorcycle. The regular Blue & White YZF-R3 color has also tweaked with some graphics, while the R125 in Black gets some updated graphics. The firm might introduce the new paint scheme for the Indian lineup in the first quarter of 2016.

Yamaha YZF-R3 is an entry-level motorcycle that was launched in the previous month of 2015 at Rs. 3.25 Lakh (Ex. Showroom Delhi). The motorcycle is based on the Yamaha's most popular motorcycle, R25, which is being sold in the Indonesian two-wheeler market. The YZF-R3 motorcycle is powered by an all-new 321cc liquid-cooled and single cylinder motor. The fuel injection motor makes it able to deliver 42 PS of power and 29.6 Nm of torque. The engine is mated to a six-speed transmission.

The YZF-R3 rides on stiff and lightweight diamond frame, which contribute to providing dynamic and comfortable ride quality. The motorcycle gets Yamaha's R-series technology that includes direct-drive camshaft, low friction cylinders, forged piston, etc.
