2018 Bajaj Pulsar RS 200 Spied In A New Colour Paint

The Pulsar RS 200 has been spotted during testing in Pune wearing new color paint. This is sure that it is just in the new color scheme and not more powerful or comrade variant of the RS 200 and the SS 400. The SS 400 concept was displayed at the 2014 Auto Expo. The Bajaj is not testing the RS 400 as well as the crankcase of the spotted bike is just similar to the Pulsar RS 200.

Although, the Pulsar RS 400 will take the powertrain from the Bajaj Dominar 400 variant and the RS 400 is expected to be more strong than this model. The engine of the RS 400 is able to churn out a maximum power of 40 PS and a peak torque of 35 Nm. It is speculated that the bike can be offered in both the ABS and non-ABS variants and showcased with the price tag of around Rs. 1.8 lakhs in India. The Pulsar RS 400 will be facing the competition from the Apache RR 310 in the market.

The test mule of the bike was camouflaged but peeked out the black and red paint scheme. It acquires alloy wheels finished in red color. At present, the bike is available in the market with two color variants, which are Black with Grey and Blue with White. The Red and Yellow color paints, which were with laser edged themes, are discontinued by the company.

The Pulsar RS 200 is equipped with a 199.5cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled and fuel-injected engine which is able to churn out a maximum power of 24.5 PS and a peak torque of 18.6 Nm. The engine of the RS 200 comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox setup. The bike obtains dual projector headlights and single-channel ABS.
