2019 BMW 620d Gran Turismo Launched at INR 63.90 Lakh

The German carmaker, BMW has introduced an all-new entry-level 620d variant in the 6 Series Gran Turismo in India. The company priced this variant which is available only in a single the Luxury Line trim at INR 63.90 lakh (ex-showroom, India). Earlier than this, the brand’s 6 Series GT range consists of models such as the 630d diesel retails at INR 68.90-73.90 lakh and 630i petrol priced at INR 63.90 lakh. The 630d diesel variant was offered with the M Sport version.

Under the hood, the 620d GT gets a 2.0-litre, four-cylinder, turbocharged diesel engine. Mated to an 8-speed automatic gearbox, the mill is capable of generating 190hp and 400Nm of torque. Also, it can complete the 0-100kmph sprint in just 7.9 secs.

Insides the cabin, the 620d GT is a feature-packed luxury sedan. It gets a 10.25-inch infotainment system with Apple CarPlay, an 8.8-inch all-digital instrument cluster, a sports leather steering wheel, ambient lighting and a wood interior trim with chrome inserts studded across the cabin. Also, a rear-seat entertainment system is offered with this newly launched 620d Gran Turismo with two 10.2-inch screens which are placed behind the front seats. The entertainment system offers features including a BluRay player as well as HDMI, MP3 and gaming console connections.

Other than this, the furnished upholstery is available in three options with exclusive stitching/piping options in contrast. Including the Leather 'Dakota' Ivory White with Black/Dark Coffee; Leather 'Dakota' Cognac with Black; and a two-tone Leather 'Dakota' Canberra Beige.

The BMW 620d GT comes finished in metallic colour options comprising Mineral White, Glacier Silver, Mediterranean Blue and Royal Burgundy Red.

Not even this, the German carmaker has also launched the Z4 in India which priced at INR 64.90 lakh. In terms of sales, the BMW has registered a growth of 19 per cent meanwhile in January and March 2019.
