The Piaggio owned one and only scooter manufacturing industry, which is world famous for producing retro styled though most good-looking scooters. The Italian scooter manufacturer, Vespa is planning to accessorize its upcoming scooter Vespa Elegante, whose launch has already been scheduled in India. The Vespa Elegante will be coming towards India at the arrival of the festival season.
The Piaggio owned scooter manufacturing company has been in two-wheeler production since their inception. The company is having well-earned fame all over the world for their specifically designed retro styled yet stylish scooters. Currently, India is having three models of Vespa scooter and one limited edition model. The models available in India are Vespa, Vespa VX, Vespa S and the limited edition model is Vespa Esclusivo.
It is expected that the Vespa Elegante will be coming towards India carrying an accessorize version of the existing Vespa VX. It is supposedly to receive a new finish in Crete Sensei Brown color and along with that a new paint scheme also, similar to Vespa Primevera. The upcoming scooter will also feature a wider split seat, which will be painted in a light brown color. On the technical front, it gets its power from a 125cc air-cooled engine, which is capable to belt out a total power of 9.85 BHP and 10.06Nm of peak torque.
The company has also taken care of the safety features in the scooter. The braking system has received front disc brakes and rear drum brake. The Vespa Elegante also features a foldable front apron, which was mounted on a carrier. The most attractive part is that the scooter will be having a badge of "Elegante" written over the body.
