A New Range of Pulsar Motorcycles Launching on 14th April, 2015

It seems that the Bajaj Auto Ltd. has decided to break all the past records with these consecutive launches. As per company's proclamation, the Bajaj Auto Ltd. is coming up with six new motorcycles in the first six months of the fiscal year, 2015. The bombastic launch of the Pulsar RS200 took place on the 26th March, 2015 and till now the firm has successfully acquired nearly 1500 bookings for the fully-faired sports motorcycle. Now, for the month of April, the Bajaj Auto has scheduled a completely new range of Pulsar motorcycles for the Indian portfolio.

Bajaj Pulsar 200AS

On the 14th April, 2015, the company will supposedly be introducing the Bajaj Pulsar 200AS and a 150cc Pulsar. The invitations of the launching ceremony have already been sent out by the manufacturer to the media, stating the "Launch of a New Range of Pulsars". The invitation is vindicating the launching of more than one Pulsar motorcycle in the country. The Bajaj Pulsar 200AS is confirmed for its arrival, while there is still a toss between the Pulsar 150AS and Pulsar 150NS.

Mechanically, the Bajaj Pulsar 200AS is powered by the firm's flagship 200cc displaced engine, powering the Pulsar 200NS. The 199.5cc displaced engine gets a SOHC, single-cylinder motor configuration. The 4-stroke, Triple-Spark, liquid-cooled engine is tuned to churn out a maximum power of 23 BHP @ 9500 revs and achieves a peak torque of 18.3 Nm @ 8000 RPM.

And talking about the upcoming 150cc displaced motorcycle, it could be a Pulsar 150AS or Pulsar 150NS. It would be sharing its technical specifications with the Pulsar 150, which is carrying an engine displacement of 149.5cc incorporated with a DTS-i, single-cylinder, air-cooled motor. The 149.5cc displaced engine is capable to deliver a maximum power of 15 BHP @ 9000 revs and 12.5 Nm of peak torque @ 6500 revs.

Get ready to witness a whole new range of Pulsar motorcycles on 14th April, 2015. Apart from the Pulsar range of motorcycles, the Bajaj Auto Ltd. is also planning for the comeback of the well-famed Chetak brand scooters in a new form.
